ah xuan's over and we had a delightful time popping yummilicious mushi mochi!

work wasn't bad at all i was forty five mins late and they all thought i went on a strike hah! so when i finally appeared my boss actually gave me a very grateful and relieved smile and even thanked me fer coming?? (wow. i was really expecting an earful from her.) and my other colleagues offered to buy me lunch! woo~ so that all spurred me on to slog hard and by the end of the day i, believe it or not, managed to sift through all that impossible stacks of paperwork! (even did ot as i was suddenly feeling responsible haha) what a feat. i feel accomplished and important and a hundred bucks richer :)

over lunch the other day brenda scrutinised me from head to toe and burst out laughing. "you look so...cute!" she managed between snorts. erh, yes, i was a demure picture in mom's working clothes. you know, long flowy skirts and cardigans and heels tt killed my feet. (and make-up.) urgh. laugh on, i can take it~
