i'm back! i mean back online (not in Spore), thinking that i would probably never have the chance to again after the previous post at the hotel.

cause these past few days have been sucha mad rush fer me, travelling to so many diff places, that i didnt really have the strength/ time to go near any comp at the end of the day, even though the keyboard might have existed right in front of me. heh.

anyways i'm putting up at a family friend's house (which in fact looks rather like a hotel) in Vancouver now.

the place is perfect.

it's spring all year round! the weather is fantastic, with just enough sunshine and cool breeze combined, making this the best place in the world for humans to reside in.

[*inserts relevant geog knowledge: the californain current brings a cool breeze inland during summers, and a warm breeze during winters, hence maintaining a balance in the otherwise extreme temperatures of the region.]

in the distance, snow-capped mountains rise above the horizon, and in the foreground, colourful tulips and all sorts of greenery are in full bloom, cheerily lining the streets everywhere i turn. because of the climate, people can both snow ski and take a dip in the lakes on the same day! (ok am starting to sound like some tour guide haha) but the experience here is really wonderful.

and because we can't bear to leave the place just yet, our plans to San Francisco have been scraped heh. but we'll still be drivin' down (in our little red mini-cooper wooo~) to my uncle's place in seattle :)

it's hrm around 11.30 am over here now, exactly 3 hours behind Toronto (which is 24 hours behind Spore). so while it is 25th back at home today, it's 24th over here. haha confusing eh?

yeah and later on this day, i'm going to walk around the campus of UBC (which is abt a 20 mins drive from here), just to check hot gu...i mean, things out heh heh.

yesterday was spent in a beautiful park (with graceful swans gliding over the lake, and seagulls flying all around), then in a cosy little pub sipping exotic martinis, then cruising down Robson Street heartily interacting with the local clubbers in queues.

ahhh...this, is life :) can't ask fer more, can i?
