thanks to the motoring club's very pro photographers ivan and kev, here are some great pics of the JB Permas go-karting trip and the advanced driving course (which i signed up for despite havin' just gotten my license for less than a month.) and yea that was how i earned my unflattering nickname "rookie thong" hahah wtf.

erps. engine died after i jammed too hard on the brakes when the throttle got stuck, causing my go kart to charge forward abruptly at top speed and spinning outta control! after my near demise, the crowd had the cheek to cheer urghhhh malu.

and because i happened to be the most inexperienced, youngest and only female participant, i was interviewed by Torque magazine about life as a rookie driver, which means i got to hog a sports car and drive the very terrified reporter around in it while he was trying to snap good photos with that shaky hand of his hahaha. it was a wonder he didn't puke!
