some four muggertoads have congregated in the D block lounge every single day of the hell period. yes, we're collectively known as the mug gang.

life has certainly not been easy during this period (ask any nus student.) just to illustrate the degree of hardship we've been going through, i have an example at hand - i had to resort to using chen yong's army towel to bathe just now. why? because i am so hard up for time my laundry's been piling up. now my wardrobe's depleted of its resources and dirty clothes are strewn all over my room. currently, i am in rags, and have been surviving on those lil' yellow scraps of eusoff towel freebies to bathe for quite some time now. so thank goodness for chen yong's murky green army towel! (albeit a little dubious looking, it is nevertheless a functional bathing towel which shall last me for awhile.)

i take a look around the lounge (it is now 5.30 am, mind ya) and see joel slumped on the couch with his mouth open and ng minli curled up on another sofa, laptops still on and countless notes everywhere. leftover food from yesterday and the day before (and erh the day before the day before?) clutter the place. i myself am furiously gulping coffee in a bid not to join in the slumber party.

suddenly, i feel sorry for ourselves.

pathetic.

we really don't lead decent lives, do we. oh wait, what life? hah.
